Beetroot handkerchief pasta hack

Pink! The favourite colour of so many kids… Did you know that you can make loads of different coloured pastas by using fresh veggy juices? We’re using beetroot juice to make this one pink, but you can also use carrot juice, spinach juice, or even more adult flavours like saffron or squid ink.

We’re using the Pasta and Noodle Maker from Philips to make pink lasagne sheets. It’s a great way to entertain kids, as it’s kind of like playing arts and crafts! The lasagne sheets can be used for lasagne, or cut into any kind of shape you like! Use cookie cutters to cut out their favourite shapes, tear it into large squares (aka handkercheif pasta, “mandilli”), or make cannelloni, ravioli, tortellini or even pappardelle.
